JOUNERY INTO THE HEART & 21 STAGES OF MEDITATION

A yatra is a spiritual pilgrimage, an exploration of the self. Come to India for an experience of transformation that will remain with you for the rest of your life.

We will start and end in Amritsar, home of the Golden Temple. Cleanse and renew your spirit by bathing in its sacred waters. Enjoy early morning sadhana, excursions to holy sites, the city with its bustling markets, restaurants, chai shops and colourful people. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Amritsar, a holy city of India.

We will travel to Dashmesh Sedan, Yogi Bhajan’s home in Anandpur Sahib for 21 Stages of Meditation. It is a peaceful place surrounded by gardens, overlooking the valley – a place where Yogi Bhajan’s presence is everywhere.

21 Stages of Meditation will give you the tools and experience to deepen your meditation and come to a profound understanding of your Self. It will allow you to go through the process of deep healing. It is a beautiful and very deep process of inner transformation. We will engage in three meditative journeys, each journey of seven stages, taking you step by step into a deeper level of awakening and realization.

It is said that if a person recites Japji Sahib on each of these steps, and then dips in the sacred waters, the karmas of 8.4 million lifetimes will be washed away.

11 day intensive, On a private island

The retreat is on Sun-Moon Island, a private island in the Dawangtan Reservoir Scenic Area, Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China. The island is purely for spiritual retreat, usually just once a year by a Rinpoche, and is care-taken by a small local family. It is called Sun-moon Island as it is two islands, one shaped as a moon, and the other the sun, connected by a swing bridge.

The island takes about 30 minutes to access by boat.
